London/Düsseldorf – ESTAma announces the sale of a fully-let Rewe

supermarket to a subsidiary of Interra Immobilien AG. The Düsseldorf based investor added the asset with considerable potential located in the 16,000 inhabitants strong town in Saarland to its growing portfolio in mid-August.

The retail property is currently let on a long-term lease to a Rewe store operator. In addition to its lettable area of ca. 1,650 m2 the store offers its customers 65 car parking spaces on a 5,000 m2 large site. Interra has already planned out the future of the asset. The existing building from 1995 will be replaced by a modern newly built store.

“We are delighted about our new acquisition in Schmelz and have already begun constructive talks with the tenant about a shared future” says Speaker of the Board of Directors Alexander Dold about the status of Interra’s newest project, the strategic location of which the investor considers very strong. The property is located on the highly frequented road between Bettingen and Hüttersdorf in a commercial park and adjacent to several other well-known retail chains. Dold considers “the agglomeration of multiple stores is beneficial to all players.” Also, the proximity to the state’s capital was an important aspect in this purchase.

The seller exclusively mandated ESTAma as its sales agent and transaction manager. The parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.
